Feminists Continue to Distort History in order to Advance an Anti-Male Ideology

The latest example comes courtesy of Marxist and feminist Naomi Wolf. The thesis of her latest book is that Occidental Culture has a history of violently censoring differing forms of love in order to preserve the supposedly oppressive patriarchy. (When reading differing forms of love, understand that this is feminist double-speak, meaning fornication, adultery, homosexuality and other forms of sexual deviancy.) There’s just one problem: it’s all based on a gross misreading of history.

Recalcitrant atheists are now stating the Josephus’ writings about Christ should be discarded and can not be considered as evidence for the existence of Jesus Christ. Those claims are examined in this episode and proof given that not only can Josephus’ writings be used as extra-biblical evidence to support the proposition that Christ was a historical figure, but also that many atheists will go to foolish lengths to denigrate the historical record pertaining to Christianity.

History is Anything but Boring

It’s an amusing spectacle, every time I advise a pupil to read history books. The typical reply is: “But, history is boring”. My response is usually: “It’s not enjoyable because you’re not trying hard enough to extract the rich lessons it has to offer”. This answer elicits puzzled looks almost every time.

It isn’t until after a short explanation is given to my interlocutors, that they tend to agree with my assertion. After enough clarification, they promise to read some history books. (At least, this is what they’ve told me they’ll do. It could very well be that they desire to put an end to the conversation, thereby promising something they have no intention of keeping.)
