New York has Declared War against Religious Freedom and Education

By Micah Morrison from Judicial Watch:

New York State has opened to the door to a war on religious education. New guidelines from the state’s Department of Education are framed as applying to all “religious and independent schools” in New York, but no one is fooled. The changes are aimed right at New York City’s freewheeling Orthodox Jewish seminaries, known as yeshivas. More than 100,000 students attend yeshivas in New York City.

The new guidelines revisit the “substantial equivalency” statute that has kept the peace in New York schools since 1897. Non-public schools can educate their students as they see fit, provided the education is “substantially equivalent” to public schools. The new guidelines change the equation. Math must be taught every day. English, science, and social studies must be taught. Schools must provide samples of teaching schedules, textbooks, and lesson plans. Non-compliant schools risk withdrawal of funding for things like textbooks and transportation, and students ultimately could be forced to go to another school. Students that resist transfer risk being declared “truant” and legal steps to challenge parental competency could follow. The new mandates will be enforced by inspections from local school district officials. Continue reading

Trump Shouldn’t have Capitulated

Many constitutional and social conservatives are understandably upset after Trump capitulated to the Democrats, agreeing to reopen portions of the government for three weeks without acquiring funds for a desperately needed border wall. Trump’s intelligence insulting excuse only added more gasoline to the wildfire, claiming that he needed to reopen the government due to federal workers being financially hammered by the partial shutdown. The truth is that there is more to this than what the President, Republicans, Democrats, the Enemy of the People (the mainstream media, which includes Fox News) and the pundit class are disseminating. Is Donald Trump a Traitor?

The simple answer is an emphatic “No”. However, in an age where simpletons have been indoctrinated to ignore evidence, substance and context, the answer requires elucidation.

Unless the reader has been living in complete isolation during the last few days, he has become aware of the mass hysteria centered on President Donald Trump’s summit with Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland. According to the legacy media and many other subversives within and without government, Trump’s meeting with Putin and his subsequent remarks during Monday’s press conference are proof positive that he is a traitor, a reincarnation of Benedict Arnold. On the Roy Moore & Al Franken Charade

I’ve resisted commenting on the controversy surrounding Roy Moore out of Christian duty to judge according to righteous judgment and not according to appearances, waiting for all of the pertinent facts to appear. (John 7:24) That being said, I’m breaking my silence due to the glaring hypocrisies and sanctimonies that are begin left unchallenged. I ask the reader to patiently and carefully read the ensuing lines, as there is plenty of nuance to discuss.

It was recently propagated by “sportscaster” Leeann Tweeden that Senator Al Franken groped and violently kissed her during a USO Tour in 2006. The vulgar details, including photographic proof, are readily available online. Immediately after the “news” broke, Franken, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, the leftist mainstream media and even Imbecilewood (my new name for Hollywood) celebrities undertook “damage control mode”.

Some who are well aware of the developments will question and challenge my description of what transpired. They’ll state that authentic outrage is what has mostly been on display. Not so – and I’ll prove it! Continue reading

The Curious Case of High-Profile Conservatives Against Boycotts

The public boycotts have been mounting, justifiably and encouragingly so, against organizations that insist on supporting immoral thought and behavior either directly or indirectly.

First it was Target, after they announced that their bathrooms and fitting rooms would be open to “transgender” persons. Then it was Shakespeare in the Park, depicting what a Trump assassination would look like if interpreted along the lines of Julius Caesar. It has culminated with the NFL and its insistence that players be allowed to disrespect our national anthem and Old Glory. Continue reading

It Has Become Us Versus Them

When the CEOs of abusive corporations decide to moralize to the rest of the country, you know you’ve got an irony problem. When reprobates who perform insignificant tasks for obscene amounts of money, such as professional athletes, actors and musicians, condescendingly sermonize and harp on about their supposed virtue, you know you’ve got an irony problem.

This hypocritical puffery is what most Americans have been increasingly exposed to throughout the past 50 years. It’s probably hit its peak, proven by how brazen those that lecture us have become about what they lecture us on and how.

Case and point and the latest examples: Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, Hollywood elites during the Emmys and Colin Kaepernick. Continue reading
